Mikena's baby blessing

On April 14, 2013 Skyeler gave Mikena a name and a blessing. It was a wonderful blessing and we had lots of support from our family. We are sure blessed to have so many family members who are willing to drive long or short distances to be there for our Mikena on her first special day. (Besides being born)

I am so blessed to have this little on in my life and my love for her just continues to grow. She really is a special little girl. I am so glad that she picked us.

Our first family picture. Sadly we didn't get a family picture with all the pictures that were taken at the hospital. Oh well. We finally got one.

Overall it was a wonderful and a special day. There were a few frustrations to start the day out but I hope to not let it effect the specialness of the day. For that is why we have the atonement and I need to be better with using it. There is no reason to be mad at people forever because of choices made. All that really matters to me is that I was there for my little girl and I have a loving husband who honors his priesthood and is able to bless our little one.
