I made it!

Wow, can I say that that was a very long drive. It took us 3 days of almost constant driving to get here. Good thing we took a break in St. Louis! Overall it was a good road trip. I'm not exactly ready for another one right now at this very min, but I think it would be fun to take a trip with Skyeler some day.
Anyway…so far I am loving being on post. I love that Skyeler is only a five min drive away rather than 2 time zones away. There are some things that I am trying to get use to and that includes the ultamate gated community. It is weird showing my I.D. every time I come through a gate. Another thing I am trying to get use to is the wall of trees. You can't really see anything but trees when driving and so you really have to know where you are wanting to go and what exit to take. (Not helpful for me). I am also trying to get use to the humidity. I swear I feel like I am in a sauna constantly. But in time I will get use to everything. 
I am excited to be here and to get into a routine. I love having a routine... there are some things that I am excited about doing in this area. I want to go spend some more time in D.C. we went there last Friday but didn't get to spend a whole lot of time there. I want to go to Baltimore and to some of the History sites. Maryland is where Francis scott key wrote the national anthem. I want to go to Mid evil times. It is actually only a 10-15 min drive from where we live. Just go out a certain gate and drive straight till you run into the mall. There is a huge mall! It is quite awesome.
Well as soon as I get internet I will post some pics from my drive and of the house. (If anyone is interested in seeing some pics). I'm not sure when that will be. I really need to go over my finances. So it might be a bit. But we will see. I really want to show pics of the city museum! That place was awesome!
