Happy half birthday- 18 months

Like I say a lot..... holy crap where is the time going?  Mikena is now 18 months old. Time had flown way to quickly!

Mikena as of late has been talking and signing more, I love her little voice. She is also learning that she can scream and make really loud annoying sounds as well as figured out tantrums, or at least started throwing bigger ones. She will also at times not let you put her down. And if you do cries. She has tons abs tons of energy and very stubborn. I think she acts like me the most do if that is the case we should have interesting times coming our way.

I just love her though. New tantrums and saying no to everything included. She is such a special girl and she makes me want to be a better person. I hope that I can always be there for her in the ways she needs. I am excited to continue to watch her grow and learn. She is just so smart.

Mikena's Birthday Blanket

I made this blanket back at the beginning of the year and finished just in time for Mikena's 1st birthday. I love how this blanket turned out. I think she has enjoyed it to!

Here are some pics of Mikena as of late. She loves to play with daddy's Army beret.

She loved to play/ride in the car cart at Home Depot. She really didn't want to get out of it.

Have I ever mentioned that Mikena loves to climb. Yesterday sky was making dinner and I looked over at Mikena and she was on the table. Seesh. It scared me, but obviously not enough that I couldn't take a picture first. Mikena is usually really good with knowing get limits and doesn't fall off to many things. It's funny when you know she is judging something. She really is smart! 

 Mikena loves to play outside so I using turn the hose on just a little and it will occupy her for 45 min. Then she starts to wander around. She has also started to make funny faces at the camera!

I love books!

Today after church Sky and I were starting to make some lunch and we noticed that Mikena had climbed up on the couch and was sitting with a book babbling. It was really cute and I love that she enjoys books. I could be reading to get more but I guess what I am doing is enough for her to pick it up on her own ond to let me know that she would like to be read to. 

16 Months

So its been a while since I have posted anything about Mikena. HA HA .. Not. My life is her so that is what you get to read about.

Tomorrow Mikena will be 16 months and boy is she a handful.

Mikena lately.
* Talks and Talks.. She can say Turtle, Tiger (toys she got from our vacation), Bubbles, dada, dog, etc. Lately Mikena will meow like a cat and it is super funny.
* Loves to climb. She will climb on anything that she possibly can. It kinda drives me crazy.
* Wants to be independent by doing everything herself. She doesn't want me to hand her anything.
* Constantly on the go go go go go. It is difficult to get her to sit still. Unless she is in her car seat or high chair.
* Loves to cuddle mom and is still a big mommy's girl.
* Gives hugs and kisses.
