We have moved again!

I have to say that in the 6.5 years that sky and I have been married we have moved A LOT and I am getting tired of moving almost every year. We have moved around 7 times. Some by choice and some because we really needed to.

This move was the closest move. We moved maybe 15 miles away. But those 15 miles will make a big difference with taking Sky to work and just the fact I have the car now and that sense of freedom!! Being stuck in our last apartment really SUCKED. I couldn't go and do anything because i had no way of getting there besides my feet and a stroller. There were things nearby like a little park but Mikena was only 6-ish months old. So we just sat outside a lot. The mall was close but for someone on a budget and trying to save money it wasn't practical.

We are still in the organizing phase and trying to get everything out of totes and boxes. But overall I think it was a good move and a fairly easy one because of the little distance between the two apartments. Now I'm trying to decide what property manger is the worse. Can't wait for the time when we can buy a house and not have that frustration and just have our own frustrations of repairs.

Overall I am mostly happy with the layout of the apartment. It has a much bigger living room which was needed because I feel like Mikena had NO space to play or really do anything. We have set up most of her toys in her room and I think she is happy with everything.

Thanks to all that helped with the move or watching Mikena or helping me clean the old apartment. I am lucky to have such great family and friends!

Moving again

Skyeler and I are going to be moving yet again. We will be moving from Orem to American Fork so it isn't that big of a move. We are moving to another apartment and it is very  similar to the one we are in. We decided to move because we are tired of dealing with the property manger for the place we are in now, I am stuck at home every day because Sky has to commute to work and we are a one car family, and the living room in this apartment is so small. I feel so bad that Mikena can't really crawl/walk and really play without getting in someone's way or having toys EVERYWHERE. I just need some space where she can play with all her toys and not feel like one toy on the ground is overwhelmingly crowded.

So this new apartment has some pro's and  con's but I think overall it will be a positive experience. Sky can run to work meaning I can have the car for some freedom, we are right next the the library and a park, rent is cheaper. etc

12 Months

I know I should have done this forever ago... BUT at least I am finally getting to it.

12 Months

• Walking
• Blowing kisses
• Folding arms for prayer
• curious  
• Being sick for the first time. 
• Napping at least an hour! Sometimes more. 
• Doesn't like frosting. I could not get her to eat her cake or cupcake for her birthday. But ice cream is different. That is a favorite. 
• Really good eater.

I love this girl and she is just so much fun.
