As you all know from reading that all of our stuff is gone from our apartment and I have had to stay here with basically nothing. I really have to say that at times it is quite convenient only having what you need and not an entire house full of just stuff. But there are things that I have missed such as my tweezers, random food items, and the denture tablets to clean my retainers, but things have been good. I only had to make sky find the tweezers and bring them up when he came home Thursday afternoon because of annoying little hairs that I get on my chin. :P
So now the trick is trying to come up with things to do to keep us occupied. Today I had my last day of work and I kinda feel weird knowing that I'm done with that company (for now). The past couple days I have been getting phone calls from work like no other. 1 today, 2 or 3 yesterday, 1 Tuesday and 1 Monday. Hmm, I also think there were quite a few last week. some of the things are kinda repeat and they kept forgetting what I had told them but the person I talked to was new and I think the computer program they use is kinda weird. But yesterday and today (I guess yesterday and Thursday since technically it is after 2 am and it will probably say Saturday) the lady kept saying good luck with the move, sad to see you go, if you need anything let us know... Letter of recommendation, or just anything, and I have been told by 2 different people that if I come back to the area (anywhere from logan to santaquin) that I could have my job back no questions asked. I guess they liked me enough that they tell me in advance to come back, one girl said it 2 or 3 times. It made me feel good that they said that, probably cause no other company has done that before. I just figured the first time they said it it was because I was already friends with one of the office people cause I worked with her about 4 yrs ago at Avalon Care Center in Bountiful. We worked on the same hall together and stuff. Let me tell you it was weird being in Provo going into an interview and being interviewed by an old co-worker. Good thing she liked me. But after I got home from worked I went back to bed for some time and then we took a couple things to the dump, drove around, and then hung out with Tyler. As of now I'm wasting time so I can wake up sky and go check out the lunar eclipse that is at 4 am. So I'm almost positive that tomorrow will be another sleep in day. But after that we might start doing some things on our cleaning list for our landlords. Who knows.
Some good news is that an old co-worker of Skyelers put in a good work at Ace Hardware for him. Sky had gone in there previously this week to find out about some jobs and if they were hiring etc. Sky has worked for this company before. He was on the insulation installation crew from the time he came home from his mission to the time we left to move up here in Orem. He is going in on Monday at some point for a interview. Sky's co-worker A.J. was telling someone there at Ace that they better hirer him because he knows the job and speaks Spanish and all what not. I guess most of the crew speaks Spanish so he will fit right in. :) But it wasn't the best job before ( I wonder why?....hmm... insulation.. yup that was it) and all we have heard since we left is that there isn't much work. I just hope something works out so we can get some sort of padding when car insurance comes so we don't have to ask people for help. Luckily enough my checks from Homewatcher (home health) has covered what we need for car insurance and electricity for now and my last check will cover our phone bill but after that...... We don't have much. At least there is some kind of job even if it is temporary. Maybe sky will get a discount on insulation since Chris' house needs it badly!! Well that is the update of my life so far. Looking a smige better but still trying to figure a few things out. But Friday is over now I'll focus on Saturday. Wish me luck!

90% there
I can honestly say that knowing that your in the middle of a move that you don't want to do can be quite frustrating and the worst part is when you are still going to be in your home another week or so. But I didn't really think about how much that is going to suck. It sucks because 1- all of your stuff is now gone, 2- sky is in richfield again doing some more work (alot still needs to get done) so I'm all alone, 3- you now live in the reality that you will no longer going to be in the apartment you love, and life has drastically changed, 4- the house is basically empty except for the necessities. So living in a house that has no bed, table, chairs, books, tv, crafts, or anything to keep one occupied. but at least I have my washer and dryer. I juts hope I have enough food in order to eat, and stuff to cook with. Hmm that will be interesting. I also have an air mattress so I'm not completely on the floor I guess I can vacuum the floor and set that up, I guess that will take up some time. HA like 5 min. Oh well I guess I'll try to find some food and set up my bed and start reading the one book I do have at home. This indeed will be interesting. Wish me luck everyone. I'll probably write more about how bored I am with having nothing to do.

Pains of moving
Skyeler has been in Richfield since Monday afternoon and I've been home because I have my 1 hr of work every day and so I have been in charge of trying to get things ready for Saturday when we move things down. Some things I wanted to get done I couldn't because Sky has taken all of our tools down to Richfield when we still have a bed, sound system, and other random things to take apart in order to be moved so I called our friend Tyler and he brought over some tools I needed. Well some of these things like the bed it is just easier to be taken apart with anther person but it is very much doable with one. Well I really wanted to get things taken apart in order to have them ready so I started on the bed and wanted to move everything up against the wall. Well when I was pulling off the thing the mattress goes on I was trying to be careful to it wouldn't come back and hit me when I lifted it up but guess what It did. It hit both of my shins. Ouch! my left shin feels bruised but you can't see anything. The other doesn't feel bruised at all so maybe there is just some small bruise.
Well I still continued to box and take things apart and I got the spare room completely ready with everything emptied and boxed up. Once I got home from my clients I decided to rearrange the living room after I had emptied the china cabinet and took that apart. (there are 2 that stack on each other, so i lifted the top and put it on the floor) I wanted to rearrange the living room because i was tired of boxes in the middle of the floor and if I rearranged it I could put them against a wall somewhere. So as I was moving the couch I would pull it towards myself and when I moved it towards me the couch hit my foot and I'm assuming to how my foot felt and kinda feels and looks like that I must have damaged a vein. Since it got swollen and all read like a bruise when you pop a vein. Ouch! As of now my foot is a little swollen on where I hit it but if you look at it you can't see anything. But if you touch it, ouch. Kinda like my shins. But the living room is about ready. I am in need of more boxes and tape in order to continue so I guess I am at a stopping point until sky gets home. Then he can make fun of me for running my foot over with a couch and doing all this heavy heavy lifting stuff without him.
Its amazing how I do the heavy lifting all by myself. I will tell you how I do it. I manage to get the box up a little and have a rolling chair on the lowest setting and put the box on the chair then you can hold the box in front of you and push the rolling chair. Works amazingly. Then with the china cabinet I had the couch next to it and the big green chair in front so I would just push little by little and having the couch and chair take most of the way and I just slid the cabinet slowly to the floor. YAY. I'm so buff. Just don't tell Sky yet cause I want him to think i'm buff and not totally helpless. :)

Remodeling
Well I guess some things that have been somewhat exciting is the remodel or just fixing up Skyeler's dads (Chris) basement. I personally haven't been able to do much but sky has done quite a bit to the room we will be staying in. It is the same room we were in when we first got married, and if some of you remember it was this sea green/blue and had Sponge Bob everywhere. It was an amazing paint job done by Skys mom but I am not really willing in staying in that room if sponge bob is still there. Chris has been totally willing in paying for pain supplies and everything we need in order to get things done so we can feel comfortable living there.
As of a week or so ago we have put in new windows, and painted the wall and trim around the room. You will never believe the windows they are sooo old. I will have pics for you guys to see shortly. Some other improvements that will be going into that room will be new carpet (sky has picked out and looks good) and of course paint the ceiling. It use to have that nasty pop corn texture on it, but at least Sky has gotten rid of that and the cupboards and shelves that were hanging up so it has made the bed room even bigger. (I think it is quite a big bedroom) Here are some few before and after pics.
I'm sure you can tell the difference between the before and after so I will not point any of that out. I hope you like the improvements. I know that I do. Once we start on other things like the spare room I will show you the awesome Scooby Doo room!!

We still have a lot of work to do in order for us to feel that the basement is ours. We still have 2 more bedrooms to fix up, the bathroom, and the family room. But good thing that Chris pays for it and we do the work. Its something, and it makes it not seem so bad the whole move in. Just if I could figure a couple other things out then it would be better.

Let me know if you guys have any ideas that we can do because honestly I feel that I have no idea what I am doing. I will be needing some bathroom ideas in the future. We are going to try to make it a little bigger so it is a little more comfortable. It is a squishy bathroom. Very very small.
