Family Vacation Continued.....

So Tuesday was Disneyland like I had said. We were able to ride many rides including; Buzz space blasters, Nemo, Splash Mountain, The Haunted Mansion, and Indiana Jones. Much of the time of course was waiting in line but it was worth it. We also did a little shopping while we waited for the fireworks to start. The Fireworks were amazing. Yes I did mention that we were able to watch most of them from the back yard of the house we stayed at but being able to be close and listen to the music made it even better. It seriously was SOOO amazing.

The pictures really aren't that great but give us 3 years to save up for a nicer camera and I'll show you some better pictures!!

Wednesday we went to Hollywood and was part of the live audience for America's Got Talent. It was such an awesome experience and it was something neither of us had done before! Over all I really enjoyed my time even though it included more time waiting in lines. To say that I have been part of it was exciting.

Thursday was mainly spent in California Adventure and I swear we rode the California screaming one 3 times. We also went on the Grizzly River Run and Soaring over California. All of it was so much fun. When we get up to the California screaming one Scott asks us "does this thing go upside down?" and I told him yes. It does and it is so much fun. Ya I don't think he really liked the idea but needless to say we did go on it again when Will and Becky caught up with us.

That night we went over to Disneyland for dinner at the Blue Bayou and I really think that it could have been better for the price. But I won't go into detail. What I will say it that they make it seem like you are outside and it is dark. I got the feel of being in neverland especially since on the movie hook when all the lost boys are going to bed the blow out the candles in their little floating lanterns. The had lanterns all over and the tables were lit by candle light. It was kinda cool. We really didn't sit in the best place in order to watch the people on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

That night we watched the World of Color. That is basically like the Bellagio's water show but on super steroids. There were so many lights, colors, and with the water they were able to project movie scenes onto it. It was so cool and I would go back over and over again to watch it. Either that or watch it on Youtube but it doesn't give it justice. SOOO I'll most likely go back.

Friday was the day that we tried to get caught up on all the other rides we hadn't gone on. So we got up a little earlier and Skyeler and I went on the Thunder Mountain, Mark Twain River Boat, Pirates again, then over to the Jungle cruise. After that we headed over to California Adventure again and tried to get on a couple more rides there. We went on the Tower of Terror and seriously Skyeler sounded like he was screaming like a little girl when the ride just drops you over and over again. At one point near the start he accidentally put his hand on the leg of the lady sitting next to him. :P

We also went on the Little Mermaid ride. I'm not a huge fan of the movie but since it was new and I had never been on it I just had to go. It was amazing and the best part of it was seeing a little character from the Incredible Mr. Limpet. So you see Don Knotts character (as the fish) hiding behind some grass behind the shells you were riding in. It was funny.

That night we went back with Will and Mollie to ride some more rides after having a little break at the house and soaking our very sore feet in the pool. I had so much fun! It was great to ride some rides again especially since everyone thought it was quite comical how Skyeler would scream on the Tower of Terror.

-We were just waiting in line.

- Picture taken at the top of the tower as we were looking out over Disneyland.

Saturday we drove back to Vegas and had a wonderful dinner made by Will, Skyeler, and Ryan. It was sad to have everything come to an end but if we were always there than we wouldn't have anything to really look forward to.

Over all we had a WONDERFUL vacation and were able to enjoy our time together as a family. I can't wait till the next time we go.
