Back to Reality

I am feeling quite overwhelmed recently, do you think it could be that my entire life has changed? I'm thinking yes. But at least I have had a nice break from everything. As you already know we moved down here June 30th. Well we spent maybe about a day and a half here getting some things ready. I got our bedroom ready so we don't have boxes to look through when trying to find something to wear and Skyeler got his Mustang ready to work on. Then Friday the 2nd we packed up for a good while and left for Blanding. We decided that since we hadn't been down there in 6 or so months it was about time for a visit and so we spent the 4th of July there. That Saturday we watched the parade, and afterwards we went on a Hike where my poor neck got so burnt that to this day over a week later I still have it and it still hurts at times. Oh and it is peeling like no other still. But long story short it was fun staying there.

On Wednesday we left Blanding and drove 5 hrs straight to Bountiful where we would spend Thursday till Saturday camping with Dad and Kandie for the Knight reunion. Let me tell you even with some rain and thunderstorms I had a blast and was very glad that we were able to make it. But needless to say our vacation thing didn't last long enough. We left today to come back down to Richfield to finally start looking for jobs and start settling in. I hope things go well. I'm ready to start work so I can get my mind preoccupied with other things.

I think I am almost ready for school. I have both my transcripts from Weber and UVU sent in along with an application and financial aid. I am going to meet with someone hopefully soon about what to expect from attending a distant education center. I just hope that I can get things all ready and feel comfortable about things for when school starts. I hate feeling lost and unsure about important things. Yay, I have an appointment for next Tuesday to meet with my academic advisor. I guess I should be happy that stuff for school is going somewhat smoothly and that I can still go to school and not drive 2 hrs to get there!!

So now today we are going on a job hunt, and going to try to clean up and organize all of our boxes. We almost have our room ready. But we still have things all over the place and it's driving me nuts. Good thing that it will keep me occupied for a good week or so. Well until we get new carpet and work on the various rooms some more and have to move out our stuff and put it back in.
