PIcs of Skyeler in Porter Rockwell movie

Well everyone I just wanted to post some pictures of Skyeler when he was filming in Porter Rockwell. I want to thank everyone who has shown support and interest when we played the movie for everyone at Dad and Kandie's a while back. I am very proud of Skyeler and his talents. He is an amazing guy and I hope that he gets to do what he wants in life (acting) and support his family with what he loves. I would like you guys to go to www.imdb.com and look up Skyeler Lucero. Why, because he is on there!!!!

I hope you enjoy these photos!

This one is just on set. I don't think Sky is in there anywhere but it does show what it was like. (sorta)

I'm not sure what costume is for what character but he was the Echo Canyon Trooper 1 and the Mule Soldier 1. You would have to ask Sky what the 1 actually means but I guess it is really impressive!!

Again I hope you enjoyed these. I know its been a while since he actually filmed the movie but I just saw them on the camera when I was doing the book post.

Books continued.

Back in July I posted about how much I was reading and I kept thinking that on that post it had a question of "I wonder how many pages I could read before school started". I figured that since I am doing homework that I would take a break and tell you. (since I remembered and actually have my computer in front of me).

My grand total of completed books is 7 and those 7 books came out to being 5,196 pages. By the time school started I was in the middle of my 8th book and I was about 142 pages in. So my Grand grand total is ...... 5,338 pages. Again that was between the very end of May / beginning of June to the end of August.

This is approx the size of all my books on top of each other, you'll notice the top is the princess bride. I haven't read that one but it was the closest in size to the "Warbreaker" book that I don't have anymore since I haven't bought it yet and returned the one I had to Tyler. So there you have it. That was as many pages/books that I could read until school started. I've enjoyed it mucho and I miss reading my fun books. If text books were more interesting or written like a good fantasy book, I would be reading them a lot more and probably doing better in school.

Come on people I'm married!

Ok, there are a couple of things that I find very weird right now. One is that the past two times I have gone on a walk with Skyeler, some crazy guy will either say OH YEAH!! as he passes or at least look back to check me out. Interestingly enough both times I was holding Skys hand as we walked. Why do guys check girls out when they know they are with someone since they are HOLDING HANDS!

Another thing I find weird and interesting is that one of my ex-bf little sister, will usually email me or chat with me, wanting to hang out. The conversation usually is the same. She starts the conversation and I ask her how she is doing. She will then say she misses me and we should hang out. I'll usually say "Its been a while" (Like hmmm.... 4 yrs). Afterwords she will say that I was her favorite gf that _____ had and then I'll ask her "what about _____ wife? how do you like her". She says she is ok but likes me better. That her sis-in-law gets on her nerves. Then the conversation usually turns to school and things like that. OOh and this time I did get an invite to WX High's school musical. This yr it is Les Mes. and they are performing in Feb. I got the dates and everything. I guess I mainly find this weird because hmm.... usually you don't talk to or invite your bro's ex gf to family events when both individuals are married!! Anyway If it wasn't so weird I'd be glad to talk to them more because they really are amazing people but I just can't get around the weirdness.

Funny thing is this isn't even the start of it. For one I still once in a while talk to a different ex-bf that I dated for 2 yrs and Sky and I took him to the Manti pageant once. But a totally different weird thing is when a different ex-bf from the ones mentioned previously kept trying to win me back even though I'M MARRIED (he knew it to) by bringing up things that happened while hanging out and telling me his feelings for me that he hasn't been able to get over me still, texting me daily. Usually starting around 8 am and it was usually hello beautiful or good morning gorgeous. Then he sent me a pic of him half naked. IT was from the waist up. but still INAPPROPRIATE! After that pic I told him not to contact me anymore. So far so good. So what is it with some people trying to hook up or look at married individuals.

In no way am I trying to make myself feel good about all this. But it was just weird because as of TONIGHT (technically last night since it is 1:30 am and my date will be off) I got the check out from random passerby and and ex-bf sister wanting to hang out. Then it was only 2 weeks ago that some other random guy called out from a yellow car as Sky and I were walking.

Please tell me you guys have had this happen to you.

Just can't focus.

So trying to baby sit and do homework really isn't working out. I'm feeling stressed at times because I'm not getting things done. Lets see how my schedule goes. wake up early to just so I can go upstairs and wait for baby to cry so I can feed her, after I do that I get her dressed and watch tv until I need to feed her again then. I then turn the tv back on and watch some more. OK so basically it isn't the baby that is making me not study. It's the horrible TV!! I just LOVE the Disney channel. My favorites are "Wizards of Waverly Place", "Phineas and Ferb" and I'm getting use to the other things that are on. But since Kara and Josh has the DVR I have a huge selection of my favorite cartoons.

K question, can live kids shows be considered cartoons? Or is it just the animated ones. Either way I love kid shows. Poor Sky he was stuck watching Handyman Manny with me. HE HE. I actually like that show but it drove him crazy cause it was a little kid show.

Ooooh funny story. Sky bought the Jurassic Park series and had to watch all 3 with Kavan. I was so so on watching it and when they went to finish up the last 30 min of the last one I decided to go watch my Phineas and Ferb. So I turn it on (this was at our house so I couldn't pick what episode I wanted) and coincidentally Phineas, Ferb, and Candice had time traveled back to pre-historic times and was face to face with the T-Rex. So much for not wanting to watch dinosaurs chase after people and try to eat them. Needless to say Phineas, Ferb, and Candace managed to get away from the dinosaur by jumping on their scooter and wearing turtles as helmets. It must be hard for Phineas to wear any kind of hat since his head is like a 90 degree triangle.

But anyway it is after 12 and I have a couple test to take tomorrow and I still need to read the 50 page or so chapter.

Good Experience

This week has been and will be an interesting one. On Tuesday Skyeler and I woke up at 5am so we could make it to Nephi by 6:30 so my cousin Kara could be to work by 7. The reason why we came up is because while Kara's husband is gone and while Sky is at work I am babysitting Regan Kara and Josh's cute 11 week old baby. Tuesday I got to baby sit for a whole 10 hrs. Just me and baby. It was a bit intimidating but I lived. Today it won't be quite so long because I still had to go to class. But tomorrow will be a normal 8 or so hrs then Friday Kara gets home around 12 so it will be a short day.

I think trying to watch an infant and do homework is challenging. Especially since Regan loves to just cuddle and be held or have attention the entire time. I figured she would just sleep the entire time and I would get some quality homework time in. NOPE! But it has been a good experience and I'm glad that I am getting a heads up for when Sky and I have kids. I do know that I want to finish my degree before kids. But if I don't get what I want, I will improvise and do my best. It will just be a little harder with kids if I do online classes. Then probably impossible if I have regular classes.

I think my reasoning on why I want to wait is because I want to feel that I am there 24-7 for my kids and not feeling that I have to put them aside and do homework. Especially when you have timed tests and if a baby starts crying you have to make a choice. (no-worries I'm waiting for Kara to get home before I think about doing my test) Yesterday I was trying to do my math homework that is Online and that was hard enough.

So funny story, (well funny to me) Skyeler has a class that is requiring him to blog. HE HE HE HE HE. He has been one of those individuals that just sit and watch his wife blog and think that is dumb but if she likes it that her thing. So he is blogging now and you can see what he has to do with his class on his blog. The URL is something like skyelerlucerocareerporfolio.blogspot.com or something like that. You might want to check it out before class ends and he deletes it.
