4 Months

Mikena is 4 months old today and hitting a growth spurt even though she is still small.

• Mikena fits in her 0-3 month clothes and can fit in a select few 3-6 months. The 3-6 month clothes are a bit big. Heck what am I saying even some of the 0-3 month clothes are still big on her. 
• Can hold her bottle by herself.
• Get easily distracted when trying to eat. 
• Sleeps GREAT!
• Very mellow.... to the point where a we have to do something very funny to get a smile or laugh. She will mostly just look at you like your dumb. 
• Likes it when I am on my back and put her on my legs and then move them. 
• When taking pictures, she usually gives me quite a few funny faces. 
• Still loves to sit up and look around.
• LOVES to cuddle with mom.

Funny Faces

Mikena has a lot of funny faces lately. I don't know if it is just a baby thing or what but I just wanted to share them. I know there is one that I have added before but it was just to funny not to share again.

gaa, stupid spiders.

So I am NOT happy with this apartment or our landlord. I found that there is a HUGE gap between the panels that he put up in the kitchen window around the cooler when he put it in. seriously like 3-5 inch gap between the panel and the apartment. So needless to say that lets in bugs and SPIDERS! I  strongly dislike the looks of spiders. I am even more disliking of them since I have Mikena playing on the floor. In the past few days I have found quite a few of them and they are ugly, freakish, and HUGE! I can usually deal with the small common spiders but these ones. H no. I just with our landlord was competent in doing repairs. I mean common he touched the wires when fixing a light switch and shocked himself pretty bad. Plus if he has a carpet/flooring company and his floors are uneven. I am so not shopping there. All our tiles are uneven in the kitchen. Sorry to complain but momma bear is coming out when I see freakishly big spiders where I usually have my baby. Usually I am a little more understanding when you see smaller spiders in a basement apartment etc.. but not with these ones I am NOT understanding at all.

Oh crap, that was embarrassing

So the other day Mikena decided to take a crap on our neighbor right in the middle of Relief Society. Yeah.... I was a bit embarrassed. Needless to say my neighbor was really good about it and I went home after we got Mikena and my neighbor cleaned up. I guess I really need to get use to that since my baby is almost 4 months. Babies do that. The funny thing is that we just prior to Mikena crapping all over the place me and my neighbor were talking about drool and sticky stuff. She was saying that her 2 year old son gets everything sticky and I mentioned I think I could handle all the drool since I hate sticky. Well I think poop tops everything. That is for sure the worse.
