3 Weeks Old!
HOLY CRAP!! It still seems like we are just getting home from the hospital after bringing our little one into the world but yet she is 3 weeks old today! If I thought that time went by quickly when I was pregnant I was seriously wrong. Time has been going by even faster now that she is here. I don't feel like I do much all day besides feed the baby, change the baby's diaper, manage to get a quick bite in myself and then of course try to sleep.
I really don't understand how time has managed to go by even faster, it does and I feel like I have so much to do with so little time. I think a lot of that will change once we get some important things done. Things that need to be done is * find an apartment, move, and get it organized * get Skyeler in-processed with his unit, * insurance changed and the little one added, * Taxes... I have been waiting on that one because the army screwed up Sky's pay and I don't know if that will effect his W-2 etc.. * various appointments. Then there are things that I want to do such as make Mikena a baby book. But unfortunately I am not sure how I want to do it and so I feel stuck already. Plus with the one idea that I do have I don"t have some of the supplies and I am unable to go to the store!
So I feel overwhelmed with the HUGE adjustment and the need to get all of this stuff done. I know that slowly but surely it will get done and I will feel better about a lot of these things. But until then..... I could try to feel better about it.

Mikena Capri Lucero
Skyeler and I are proud to introduce our amazing little one... Mikena Capri Lucero.
I can't believe that she is here but so far I really enjoy her company. It is kind of hard to believe that I am now a parent and that I have complete responsibility over her. It is such an amazing and different feeling and I am so happy with my family. Skyeler has been so wonderful with everything and I really couldn't ask for a better companion. I know I say that a lot but it is true. We have just been so much and I love how much we have grown and how much more we will grow with our daughter.
A few things about our little one includes:
She loves to be cuddled and rocked.
She is mellow and easy going.
She isn't a huge fan of sponge baths but LOVES to have her hair washed.
She is full of cute sounds whether they are hiccups, sighs, coo's etc...
Overall I am blessed to have her in my life and I am grateful for my family. I am thankful that she arrived in good health and there wasn't a lot of big complications. She didn't arrive in the way I wanted but she is here and healthy that is all that is important.
