New Job

As most of you know I had a job interview last Wednesday up at Sorenson's Ranch in Koosharem. Well I just got the call maybe 30 min ago saying that I got the job and I could have started work today but I chose tomorrow as my starting day. (I've got some serious homework to do). But I am feeling so lucky and excited about this job. Yes the days I work and the 40 min drive to and from isn't optimal but I will be working with troubled youth and really getting a chance to help people. My job responsibilities include spending time with the kids making sure that they don't do anything they are not suppose to do and I will be doing many activities with them such as hiking, fishing, and horseback riding if they are being good or weeding, painting fences, and other work related activities is they are not being so good. Seriously a job that is always changing from day to day and it is going to be summer soon. OH BOY this is going to be fun. The kids there range from 12-18 and I really feel that this age group I can help the most and feel that I can make a difference with.

I'm very excited that I got a job here and that it is with younger people instead of a pooper scooper for the elderly. Even though I do feel that I made a difference with some of the elderly and I really miss a couple of them but it just isn't going to be the same as someone who has their whole life ahead of them.

Well wish me luck.. Especially with this homework I need to do. I think this is the wrong week to start a job but I will manage.

Ruins near Blanding

During our time in Blanding for Christmas we went hiking around some ruins that are close. Shalain, Skyeler, Kavan, Ammon, Kolar, and I all went together and had a blast just wandering around and finding arrow heads and beads. We took some pics but of course pictures just doesn't do the area justice. I had a lot of fun being out of the house and enjoying the history of the area.

Well I didn't find the cord but I did find a way around it. So here are some picture updates of a few things. Number one being the fire we had. There will be one or two more later. They are on my camera and I will add them shortly. But these are some pics Sky took.

Peanut and his pipe

Peanut is SOOO funny. He LOVES this pipe that we have in the back yard. He will spend hrs (literally) just running back and forth, back and forth. It is so funny. We are not sure why he does it but hey at least he gets his exercise.









This one is my absolute favorite. He looks like bat-dog or something.

This is on our way to Vegas with Debbie. He slept the entire way and was such an awesome puppy. Especially for a 4 hr drive in a crate.

We were just having fun with this one. Ezio LOVES to have a blanket or something over his head and so we had him bundled up in a blanket and his head came out and Sky pretended to be Santa.

New Recipe

I was hungry today and I didn't want cereal, canned food, microwave crap, or anything else laying around. I am a picky eater when it comes to what to eat not necesarrily food items. It is probably why I don't eat much because nothing sounds good unless it is a home cooked meal. For example Sky is ALWAYS happy with a bowl of cereal. I want eggs, veggies, toast, etc...

Well, with this recipe it is kind of a hamburger delight, only there is no meat. :( You can use meat but I was just a tad lazy. I sauted some carrot, celantro, celery, onion, green bell pepper, and eventually part of a tomato. I waited till the other veggies were part way done before putting that in. Then I grabbed a can of tomato sauce and put some random spices in such as salt, pepper, oregano, basil, onion power, and garlic salt, and eventually some tomatoes. Then cooked up some noodles. It was those little cute ones that are swirlly that look like little balls of lace. Anyway after everything was cooked I put the sauted veggies on my noodles and poured the tomato sauce on top of the other stuff. I had a couple slices of cheese melted on top and ate it with some toast.

I was really iffy on my concauction but good thing about prayer is that you can bless the food that it will taste good. :) So if you ever want something yummy, you should try my new meal. It really isn't that bad and I probably will throw some chicken or hamburger in it next time. Or just ask Sky what I should do since his food inventions always turns out!!
