Richfield Light Parade '10

Every December Richfield has a light parade. It isn't anything super fancy but it is fun to go out and see some floats covered with lights. Here are a few pics that actually turned out. But even then it is still kinda hard to really see em.






The two above were kinda cool one was a tent with a bunch of flags around it and the other was a bunch of welders, Basically the welders didn't have very many lights they made sparks! I really thought that was different and unique.



Every yr this has always been the last float. Good 'ol Coke a Cola and Santa.

Its kinda funny that I would rather live somewhere else but every yr I kinda miss the small light parade. (I think there were 30 floats) I guess its just memories of being a little kid and being there with Grandparents and Family. Usually when we went we would sit in front of Dad's work and have doughnuts and hot chocolate while watching the parade.

Silly Peanut

I really have to say that my father in laws dog is a silly and an extremely funny one. Either today or yesterday we were just sitting around and we noticed that Peanut was chewing on a string and every time he tried to put more in his mouth his arm would come up because somehow he had got the string around it.



I know it is kinda hard to tell on the video, but it is still funny.

Getting Ready for Christmas!

Skyeler and I have slowly been upgrading our Christmas tree. Our first Christmas it was this tiny $1.00 thing. Needless to say we really haven't been in the Christmasy mood for quite a while. But here are a few pictures to show you how we have been upgrading!

Now our most recent tree that we are using for our 4th Christmas together. Of course it looks better in person but oh well.

Finished Dog House

I know a while back we finished the Dog/Cat house but here are some pics of the final product. I have to say that it is amazing. Honestly who can say that they have insulation, carpet, and a second level on their dog house? Well I can!





We finally took the chair away so peanut would stop sleeping on it instead of sleeping in his house. Really you'd think that if we went through all that time and effort to build this awesome house that he would sleep on his pillow and blanket in his house.
