This past weekend Skyeler and I wanted to go visit Ryan, Alex, and Switchfoot. But mostly Ryan and Alex. :) So we left Friday and headed down. On our way a lovely but large orange barrel jumped out from the side of the road and hit our passenger side mirror. Can you believe that. Well the mirror broke off and Skyeler made me drive the rest of the way. I wasn't to happy about it because I had to take a test that night for one of my classes, and I was actually studying. Grr, but I did get us to Henderson in one piece. We just had to turn around a couple times since I got really confused with the directions Ryan gave me beforehand. Oh well. We got there and that is all that matters.
We really enjoyed out time there seeing some new things and eating at this authentic mexican restaurant. Basically this restaurant had foods from all over Skyelers mission. He was so happy and excited about it. Plus the Horchata was excellent. Christmas in a cup as Ryan would describe it. I never thought that rice water could be so yummy.
Saturday, we decided to split up a little bit. Ryan, Skyeler, and Kavan went to Frys a huge electronic store while Alex and I went to the Mall. I really enjoyed my girl time since I don't get it to often... Once we got home we decided that we would head over to this huge park where the Bite of Las Vegas was happening so we could all go to a concert. I enjoyed the time there and was very excited for Skyeler to see his favorite band Switchfoot. I guess the only negative parts of it was some drunk people trying to get in front of us and this one girl saying F this and F that constantly. I was so happy and relieved to find out that another group of LDS people were right behind us. YAY!! So when I got lost from our group because all these people were butting in I felt a little comfort knowing that they were there.
Here are some pics.

For some reason it seemed Like Alex got all the good pics. Every time I took one her's was awesome and mine had a drunk guys hand in my way. (true story)
I was glad to leave. All the pounding was giving me quite a headache and I was quite tired of the F word.
Sunday was relaxing, after Ryan and Alex got home from church.. (We slept in a little) We were able to play Rummy cub. It was quite fun especially when Ryan was trying to make his tiles look all cool.

YAY, Tilted tiles.
When we were getting ready to leave Skyeler had one of his I don't feel good I'm bound to have a migraine (if that is what he gets) moments. Needless to say I had to drive us out of Vegas. :( Seriously don't let me drive in big places that i'm not use to. Once we got to Mesquite Sky was feeling alot better. I was happy cause I don't like seeing Sky all sick and icky.
Thanks for all the fun Ryan and Alex. We will have to do it again.
