As most of you guys know my father in law has a cute little jack russel named Penut. Well one of our most favorite activities is to tease the dog. Recently I've been putting a towel around either his head or body and squeak a pink rubber duck and watch him run around or try to jump while engulfed in a towel. So funny! Maybe I'll record that next.
The little video I have is of Penut with the pink rubber duck tied to his back with the leash. ENJOY!
Another favorite is when he is trying to get the rubber duck from under the couch!

The Joys of Laundry
Ok if none of you have found some kind of joy in doing laundry (besides having clean clothes) I will tell you a joy I just had.
It is freezing in my room since I had the window open to freshen things out a bit. So needless to say it kept getting colder and colder while trying to do some stuff on the computer. Well I realized that my laundry is probably done and so I go up stairs and get my clothes from the dryer. Run downstairs and instantly get into my pj's that I just washed. The warm tinglies just go all over and I warmed myself up very quickly with my sweats, shirt, and jacket that all came from the nice warm dryer.
:)the joy of doing laundry. You guys should try it some time. I highly recommend it!

Remodeling spare room
Here are a few pics of the remodeling we are doing in the spare room. For those of you who haven't seen this room I will tell you about it since I forgot the before pics. This room had a bluish tint on the paneling and sheet rock underneath. NO insulation. The walls that we have been working on are the outside walls.

This pic is when we were taking off all the sheet rock and taking everything outside of the room.

After removing the sheet rock we noticed that there were only 2x2 boards for the joists. So we needed to add to it and Sky hand nailed (we didn't have a nail gun) more 2x2's everywhere so we could fit insulation in the joists.

Here we started putting up the sheet rock. Let me tell you the bottom was a pain since the cement is completely uneven. But we did well for our first time doing this. (alone that is. I've helped other people but i just did what they said)

Here obviously we have started to mud the seams etc. I did a little since I have homework that has to get done today. So Sky and Chris did the rest. So we have 3 out of the 4 walls sheet rocked. One wall needs to some mud but we will wait since Chris hasn't decided on a certain removal of part of that wall. The last wall will have to wait for a while since we want to make the bathroom a little bit bigger.
Its going to be a long time before we actually get things looking super nice but we will get it done. Carpet in our room will be coming soon and the left overs will go into the spare room. (we still need insulation in our room)
I guess technically we are not remodeling since everything is staying the same but we are updating and improving it.
